More than 1/3 employees use personal devices to access corporate data.

According to Trend Micro study 39% of employees use personal laptops, tablets and phones to access corporate data. Study surveyed more that 13,000 remote workers and discovered the use of less secure personal devices. 

Additionally, a study showed that 52% of remote employees have IoT devices connected to their home network. Another metric discovered more than 70% corporate laptops are connected to the home network.

Considering the fact that home network as well as personal devices can be attacked providing an access to corporate data.
