TrickBot Anchor Malware: Now also for Linux.




A famous Windows malware TrickBot Anchor now has also a “Linux version”- Anchor_Linux. It acts as a covert backdoor persistence tool in the UNIX environment. Potential targets are huge: computers, routers, VPN devices, NAS devices. Security experts suggest to be prepared and protected.

Twitter Accounts Hijacking: Three Arrested.




Who didn’t remember a Twitter VIP accounts hijacking that happened mid-July?
Two teens and early 20s man were arrested for this attack. All of them were previously related to cybercrimes. They said that an access to the Twitter internal support tools was gained by spear-phishing company’s employees. This access they used to attack multiple business leaders and celebrities (Jeff Bezos, Bill Gates, Barack Obama, Elon Mask and much more).
Except more than $100,000 funds they also got an access to private DMs from 36 accounts.
