Cybercriminals
put more than 500K Zoom login details on the Dark Web. Sunday times reported
that credentials were discovered and bought by the cybersecurity intelligence
company Cyble at 1.25 cents each.
During the
COVID-19 lockdown usage of teleconferencing tools (including ZOOM) significantly
increased and as a result these services became very popular targets for
attackers.
Zoom Video
Communications Inc. continues to investigate these attacks, locked compromised accounts
and asked users to reset their password using some complicated values.
