After revealing that Zoom does not use a true
end-to-end encryption, the company promised to work on the platform improvements. Zoom
plans to use AES 256-bit GCM encryption from May 30 but is going to implement a
true end-to-end encryption in near future.
Last Friday the company has published a
detailed plan of cryptographic design. The new encryption will be available to
all paid accounts, Zoom said.
The company also plans to conduct a full
security review to implement better security and privacy practices.
